Overview[edit]

Cox EMS is a regional ground ambulance service headquartered in Springfield, MO. They provide emergency medical response and non-emergency transport services to 6 different counties in Southwestern Missouri. Cox has approximately 14 EMS bases/stations and operates with a fleet of 45+ ground ambulances and transport vehicles.

Stations and Operations (Missouri)[edit]

Christian County[edit]

Cox EMS provides emergency medical response to 562 square miles of Central, Eastern, and Southern Christian County under contract with the Christian County Ambulance District. Bases are located in Nixa, Ozark, Sparta, and Spokane. The Western half of Christian County is still covered by Cox, but isn't part of the Christian County Ambulance District.

Dade County[edit]

Cox EMS provides emergency medical response to the entire county under contract with the Dade County Ambulance District. Bases are located in Greenfield and Lockwood.

Greene County[edit]

Cox EMS provides emergency medical response to portions of Northern and all of Southern Greene County (including the cities/towns of Battlefield, Republic, and designated areas within the City of Springfield. Bases are located in Republic and Springfield.
