Ft. Osage Fire Protection District provides fire protection and emergency medical response to 110 square miles of Northeastern Jackson County, which includes Buckner, Levasy, River Bend, Sibley, and unincorporated Northern Independence (North of 24 Highway and East of 291 Highway).
