Overview[edit]

LifeNet is an air ambulance service that is headquartered in Englewood, CO. They provide response to portions of Northeastern Kansas, Northwestern Missouri, Western/Southwestern Iowa, and Eastern/Central Nebraska. LifeNet Heartland has a fleet of 6 aircraft (1 airplane and 5 helicopters) and flies critically ill/injured patients from scenes and smaller rural medical facilities to larger tertiary care hospitals. Response area is generally within a 150-mile radius of each base.

LifeNet Heartland is owned and operated by the Air Methods Corporation.

LifeNet 2-2 is a 2013 Bell 407GX helicopter (N278AM) that is based at Rosecrans Memorial Airport in St. Joseph, MO. This aircraft primarily covers Northeastern Kansas and Northwestern Missouri.

LifeNet 2-3 is a 2006 Bell 407 helicopter (N911CN) that is based at Clarinda Regional Medical Center in Clarinda, IA. This aircraft primarily covers Southeastern Nebraska, Southern and Southwestern Iowa, and portions of Northwestern Missouri.

LifeNet 1-2[edit]

LifeNet 1-2 is a 2014 Bell 407GX helicopter (N214AM) that is based at Faith Regional Medical Center in Norfolk, NE. This aircraft primarily covers Central, Eastern, and Northern portions of Nebraska.

LifeNet 1-3[edit]

LifeNet 1-3 is a 2010 Airbus EC-130B4 helicopter (N353AM) that is based at Fremont Area Medical Center in Fremont, NE. This aircraft primarily covers Central and Eastern Nebraska.

LifeNet 1-5[edit]

LifeNet 1-5 is a 2005 Pilatus PC-12/45 airplane (N959MA) that is based at Millard Airport in Omaha, NE. This aircraft is capable of completing longer distance (airport-to-airport) transports.
