Overview[edit]

MU Air Medical Services is an air ambulance service that is headquartered in O'Fallon, MO. They provide response to Central and West Central Missouri. MU Air Medical Services operates a fleet of 4 helicopters, and flies critically ill/injured patients from scenes and smaller rural medical facilities to larger tertiary care hospitals. Response area is generally within a 150-mile radius of each base.

MU Air Medical Services is a partnership between the University of Missouri Health System and Air Evac Lifeteam, a subsidiary of Air Medical Group Holdings, LLC (AMGH). MU Health employs their own flight nurses and paramedics. Air Evac employs the pilots and mechanics, and maintains operational control over each aircraft.
